A Renewable Energy Community is an organization or group of people who come together to collectively share and manage the production, distribution, and use of energy from renewable sources. This form of cooperation allows members to harness sustainable energy resources, such as the sun, wind, or other renewable sources, to meet their energy needs and reduce their environmental impact. RECs are a real opportunity to take long-term action to make just and equitable green transitions in urban areas.
It can be done and it is already happening! Come to find out how.
